Southern Chapter

The Society is divided geographically into Northern and Southern Area Chapters. A line longitudinally bisecting the state near Albany delineates the Chapters, although members may choose their Chapter allegiance irrespective of geography. Cities included in this chapter are: Newport, Coos Bay, Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Roseburg, Grants Pass, Medford, Madras, Bend, Klamath Falls, and Ontario.

Each Chapter is responsible for the election of a Chairperson and Chairperson Elect to coordinate the activities of the Chapter and to represent the Chapter’s members while serving on the Board of Directors. Each Chapter coordinates and delivers continuing education meetings for its members. Customarily, these programs are coordinated between the two Chapters so that the same educational updates are delivered locally to members in both areas of the state.
