Technician Chapter

The OSHP Technician Chapter serves as a forum for all pharmacy technicians to:

  • Enhance pharmacy technician education and training
  • Engage conversations and exchange ideas about pharmacy practice and change in practice
  • Promote pharmacy technicians as essential members of the health care team
  • Provide opportunities for professional development

Chapter Activities: promotion of the national pharmacy technician certification examination, service on the Membership, Professional Affairs and Educational Affairs Councils, engagement in planning the Fall Seminar Tech-Track, coordinating the vote for OSHP Technician of The Year Award, and input to the OSHP Board of Directors concerning issues of importance to pharmacy technicians.

OSHP is a marketing partner with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and proudly promotes the national, voluntary pharmacy technician certification examination to interested technicians.  Successful examinees earn the credential of CPhT.
