Providence PGY1, PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL, and PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency Programs are built on a tradition of excellence in pharmacy services. The Providence Oregon Region PGY1 Residency Program at Providence Portland/Providence St. Vincent Medical Centers received the Pharmacy Residency Excellence Award from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in 2015 for demonstrated excellence and leadership in the training of pharmacy residents. Providence PGY1 and PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL Pharmacy Residency Programs are integrated health system residencies offering learning experiences throughout Providence in the Portland-metro area. Residents apply advance practice-based skills, expand leadership skills, participate in professional organizations and participate in innovative approaches to delivery of care.
