Use of Direct Oral Anticoagulants in Special Populations by Foua Xiong , PharmD
Program Description This course will provide an overview of the different direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC) available and use in special populations, such as obesity, older adults, and kidney disease. During this course, there will be assessments between differences in pharmacokinetic profiles of the DOACs and a review of appropriate dosing. Throughout this course, patient cases will be reviewed to apply the information presented.
