The Annual Seminar Planning Committee for the Oregon Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) invites you to submit program ideas that you would be willing to present at our Annual Seminar occurring April 26-28, 2024.  The seminars are designed to provide health-system pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy students with continuing education on a variety of topics. Pharmacy colleagues from all over Oregon and Southwest Washington will be in attendance.

The Annual Seminar Committee is looking for your ideas! Specifically, we are hoping for speakers addressing the following:

  • Long-acting HIV injectable medications
  • Obesity medication management
  • Anticoagulation refresher
  • Opioid therapy in chronic kidney disease
  • Substance use disorder
  • Vaping related illness
  • Hyperlipidemia updates
  • CHEST perioperative guideline updateSustainable pharmacy practice models
  • Informatics for pharmacists
  • Gene therapy/specialty therapies
  • Anything else you are passionate about!

We encourage you to submit something that reflects your recent or ongoing work on behalf of the profession.  Topics and presenter not selected for OSHP Annual Seminar are generally considered first picks for future programming. 

Please consider that presentations are typically 50 minutes in length with an additional 10 minutes reserved for Q&A.  Panel presentations or co-presenters will be considered as well.
