My name is Allison Mishkin and I am a REMS specialist for the OHSU Pharmacies, and I focus on procurement and auditing. After completing a CPhT program in 2008, I worked in many areas of Pharmacy. REMS has been a part of my job for 6 years, learning the programs, promoting compliance, and participated in external audits with great outcomes. I am passionate about efficiency, compliance, and patient care. Working with REMS drugs allows me to streamline workflows while promoting compliance. When we are successful, our patients are able to receive their medication from our Pharmacies. One of my favorite pastimes is walking around Pharmacies. Big ones with cosmetics, small ones with unique gifts, there was always one open when most stores were closed. While trying to figure out what to do with my life, I met an old friend who told me she worked as a CPhT. My world stopped and I knew Pharmacy is the place for me.
