We are excited to announce that the Oregon Society of Health-System Pharmacists will be hosting a Virtual Seminar Series to be held three times during 2021.Yes, this means we will be going virtual for the 2021 Annual Seminar! We hope this new programming will address the education programming needs of our industry.

Our expert lineup of speakers will make this meeting a memorable event. We expect this meeting will be well attended by approximately 100 attendees including directors of pharmacy, assistant directors of pharmacy, clinical supervisors, staff pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacy technicians.

Vaccines are a crucial component of our public health system and one of the safest ways to protect the health of our population. Unfortunately, misinformation, distrust and fear prevent adequate uptake of needed immunization. Pharmacists are in position to answer patient questions, point them to credible sources of information and help empower people to make health decisions rooted in science. This program aims to identify resources to address vaccine related concerns, answer frequently asked questions about vaccine safety and develop tactics to discuss vaccination with patients.
